Back from a nice holiday and Matt and I are back on the Gren ell project.shaped the keelson, removed side planking , fit chine and fit first 2 sheets of plywood for bottom . All new wood is being encapsulated with epoxy.

I recently did some repair work to our travel trailer.
The rear wall had delaminated so I removed it and replaced any rotted wood and replaced the plywood with marine plywood and sealed it with epoxy to ensure it won’t delaminate again. I Also upgraded most of the insulation.

A fun project that I just completed.
With a recent change to a 60 hp Yamaha I tried to get an old school Tach but wasn’t successful so I tried to make something cool and suitable for the shepherd and use a new style tachometer.

This week not a huge amount of time spent on the Grenell
But I did make up the transom and assembled the frames to the 3/4” and epoxy sealed and then today glued the 1/2” ply to the 3/4” . Next some fine fitting and then temporary install.

So for , bottom ply wood removed, transom removed , new transom frames made and 1 bottom frame made and installed .
