driveway grading

It might sound odd, but there's something satisfying about taking a rough, tired looking driveway and bringing it back to life.

At a cottage, the driveway isn't really the front yard it's often part of the backyard that no one hangs out in. It's the first thing you see when you arrive and the last thing you see when you leave. A freshly graded driveway just makes the whole property feel cleaner, cared for and welcoming.

The little details make a huge difference.

Nothing beats that final pass, looking back and seeing smooth lines, proper drainage.

Another one of my favourite gardens to maintain…..

Right now it’s all about healthy growth, fresh foliage, and keeping everything shaped and tidy. The Goldflame Spirea are colourful already, and the woodland backdrop will make every colour pop.

The best part? We’re still weeks away from peak season. My favourite

I can already picture this space in full bloom and the entire landscape coming to life.

For now, we keep nurturing, pruning, weeding, and waiting for nature to do its thing.
