Through their ongoing commitment and regularly joining us for deliveries, we are able to ensure the delivery of essential furniture to individuals and families in need. Having dedicated community partners we can count on helps us continue turning empty spaces into comfortable homes filled with dignity, stability, and hope.

Families are able to gather around their own kitchen table, relax on a comfortable couch, and sleep in their very own bed. We’re incredibly grateful to have Genoa alongside us, making a meaningful difference in our community month after month. 🏡

When your summer social is all about teamwork... why not put it to the ultimate test? 🌊🚣

Last week, our Vancouver team traded ship designs for rapids and took on a white water rafting adventure with Canadian Outback Rafting! There may have been a few splashes, plenty of laughs, and some questionable paddling techniques, but everyone made it back with great stories (and only slightly wetter than they started).

Here's to building stronger teams—whether we're navigating complex projects or white rapids. 💙

Programs like Next Wave are about more than introducing students to potential careers. They’re about giving young people the opportunity to explore, ask questions, build new skills, and start imagining where their own interests could take them.

Today is World Youth Skills Day, and this year's theme, "Skills for a Shared Future," is a reminder that the future is built by investing in people.

At Genoa, we're proud to help shape the next generation of Canada's shipbuilding workforce through initiatives like our Next Wave program. Last week, we welcomed students and their families to our Next Wave Open House, where they had the opportunity to explore careers in ship design, meet our team, and discover how their skills can contribute to an industry that's building vessels critical to Canada's future.

By creating opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and gain real-world experience, we're helping build not only the future of shipbuilding, but a stronger, more innovative future for our communities.
