As we harvest the flax, we get to enjoy the blooms and growth of the dye and herb garden. Experimenting with the luffa vines this year and I have a luscious growth of Japanese Indigo. Our mascot this year is the garden spider.

Harvest is slow going this week. Mother Nature is working against us. Garden renter and a few volunteers working away. We only have 40% harvested. Need to be done and stored by Monday.

Due to rain, our harvest week has been delayed to Tuesday the 4th.
