The owner of this beautiful waterfront home requested a front porch & deck rebuild a few years ago. What a lovely spot to work! This home is going on MLS today. We wish the good folks selling all the best. It feels good to provide quality workmanship that can last.

Here’s how the carpenter takes the corn off the cob. Put a spike through a board to hold the corn steady.
Freezing corn today.

Next time we will get the spike to come up through a Bundt pan. If you put the cob in a Bundt pan and then take the kernels off you collect the corn nicely in the pan and not over the counter. A trick I was given a few years ago and works great😊
