Showroom Attendant
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Showroom Attendant to join our growing team. This position combines customer service, retail sales, showroom management, and office administration in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
▶ Welcome customers and answer incoming calls
▶ Assist with over-the-counter sales and perform basic water testing
▶ Create, assign, and track sales leads
▶ Process customer deposits and payments
▶ Create job folders and routing sheets for sold jobs
▶ Schedule appointments for the General Manager, sales consultations, and supplier representatives
▶ Process website inquiries and forms
▶ Maintain showroom displays, pricing, digital media, and inventory
▶ Ensure supplier literature is current and stocked
▶ Provide basic IT support to the sales team
▶ Assist with social media content and marketing ideas
▶ Receive and distribute mail
▶ Perform general office duties and provide coverage for other office positions as required
Qualifications
▶ Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) required
▶ Post-secondary education is an asset
▶ Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
▶ Retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in home improvement or building products
▶ Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
▶ Jonas Construction Software experience is an asset
What We Offer
▶ $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience
▶ Potential to earn commission through showroom fixture and equipment sales as experience and product knowledge grow
▶ Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
