My next project will be doing some c***king repairs and a few full c***ks will need removed and redone on this cabin. The owner had one c***k fall out and after doing a full c***king inspection we decided for the best to do what needs done including removing the old culking around windows and doors and do it properly with Log Jam.

Hope everyone enjoying and taking advantage of this nice weather. Happy summer. We have been busy doing footings and piers for one deck and jacking up and replacing all the support beams on another. Some of these beams didn’t look bad from the outside but was not in good shape once things started coming apart. But it’s strong and safe now.

Love being outside and love building decks, there is not a better feeling then standing back and looking at them once they are done. No matter the size or the shape, new decks just add such a nice fresh look to the yard and house

Just wrapping up this basement, finished the stair way with Douglas fir tounge and groove to match the main lever and and completed the rest of the basement with drywall, pine tounge and groove and the closets and finished with Douglas first trim. Just a couple little things left to finish off and I will have a follow up post of the job after completion.

Hello everyone. I know it’s been a while since my last post so I just wanted to show what’s been happening at Northwoods.
Added an extra counter made from recycled elm and some shelf’s in the stair way of this house for a little extra counter space and some storage space.
Also built some shelves from the same recycled elm for plants at all the windows and a coat tree/ light post made from pine.
