Saw this on LinkedIn and it made a lot of sense.

As someone who meets with homeowners every day, one thing I never have to worry about is whether my customers will be taken care of after the sale.

When I recommend a furnace, AC, or heat pump replacement, I know Reliance is sending licensed, insured, trained professionals to do the work, and I know my customers have the backing of a company that stands behind its installations.

Could you find a cheaper price somewhere? Sometimes.

But when you’re making an investment in your home, knowing who’s going to answer the phone and support you years down the road matters too.

Okay I didn’t even realize this until recently and it’s actually a game changer for some people…

If you’re in a mobile home you can now do HVAC AND water systems on a rental.

Which honestly makes way more sense for a lot of people vs dropping a pile of money all at once.

I’ve seen a few lately where:
- AC is loud as hell or barely keeping up
- rooms are hot/cold all over the place
– water is wrecking fixtures or just gross

and people just deal with it because they think upgrading = $$$$

It doesn’t have to.

Alright I’m gonna say it… not all garages are created equal 😅

After years in this industry, I’ve seen the upsells, the wild labour rates, and the “we recommend this…” speech that somehow turns into a $1,200 bill real quick.

Scott (the owner) is an absolute beauty. No BS, no pressure, just straight-up honest work. The kind of guy who actually fixes what needs fixing and doesn’t try to sneak in a bunch of extras you didn’t ask for.

And can we talk about the fact he somehow manages SAME DAY oil changes?? Like what?! If you’re busy and live in your vehicle like I do, you know how rare that is.

Well… after almost 8 years in the automotive world, it was time for a new adventure.

Cars gave me a lot — great customers, great conversations, a few grey hairs, and the ability to talk about interest rates, warranties, and trade values in my sleep. 😅 I’m grateful for everyone who bought a vehicle from me, sent referrals, or supported me along the way.

But life evolves, and so do careers.

I’ve officially joined Reliance Home Comfort, where I’ll be helping homeowners with things like water purification, HVAC, and home comfort solutions. Turns out people care just as much about what’s in their water and air as they do about what’s in their driveway.

So if you start seeing posts from me about water quality, furnaces, or home comfort, that’s the new chapter.

And don’t worry… if you still need advice on buying a car, I probably won’t be able to shut that part off anytime soon. 😉

🚨 Boil Water Advisory Reminder

If you're in the affected area, make sure you boil tap water for at least 1 minute before drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing produce until the advisory is lifted.

Situations like this are a good reminder that many homeowners don’t always know what’s actually in their water day-to-day.

I’m currently helping homeowners test and understand their water quality and showing options for whole-home purification systems that can help protect your family’s water.

The City of Owen Sound, in consultation with Grey Bruce Public Health, has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for all users of the city’s municipal water system.
This advisory is in place due to high levels of turbidity (cloudiness in the water) observed at the water treatment plant.
