Yes I’ve been busy. I have been busy enough that I have neglected this my modest page but I do have a tonne of photos and projects to share. I’ll get started with this bathroom project.
This conversion relocates the old small cramped standup shower on the left to the opposite side of the bathroom which required some alteration to the existing hallway closet to accomodate the changes, making the shower and entire bathroom much more spacious and functional.

Good Day Folks
Here is a basement in my portfolio. This basement connects to a bathroom for which I have posted pictures some time ago. This one was challenging with a few brain teasers trying to make the most of the space. Notably the cabinets built around the house water shutoff designed to provide full access by removing panels inside the cabinets. The under stairs storage, the stairs themselves were a nice challenge. 3 windows changed. Low ceiling under the ducts trying to provide as much head room as possible. Also a custom Murphy Bed that just fit within the width and height available built offsite and installed afterwards. A proud client once completed.

Hello!
So happy the heat is beginning to subside….Well some people might not agree with me on that but I think we can all agree that this bathroom remodel is a step in the right direction.
This is a close space that got a full tear out and rebuild. Notably the shower valves were relocated to the interior short wall for easy access after it was rebuilt, the toilet was moved to be better centered as it was pressed up against the wall for some reason. Stipple ceiling flattened, water damage from flat roof leak mitigated. Much brighter and more functional, problem solved.
I have time for at least one complete bathroom makeover this fall. I can be contacted here.

I took over this bathroom/laundry combo on a referral, after the homeowner began the work himself and realized it might be a bit more work than they expected. I made a few recommendations which they went with, can you see the changes? I will add the finished photos when they become available.

Doors and trimwork are a very common request. Usually since I am renovating as opposed to new build its necessary to adapt to existing conditions and custom fit new into old. These doors were pre purchased with pre set hinges etc..Typically I prefer to do that onsite where adjustments can be made to accommodate onsite conditions.
This custom jamb is 12” deep
