What happens after the project is complete matters just as much as the work itself.

Every Amsted project is backed by a lifetime warranty, along with scheduled check-ins at 30 days, 1 year, and 2 years to make sure everything continues to perform as it should.

And in between, we’re always just a call away.

This month, we're celebrating 4 years with David!

David has been in the trades since he was 18 years old, and that depth of experience shows in everything he does. As a Project Manager, he brings a straightforward, expert approach to every project, the kind that makes clients feel confident and keeps things moving the right way.

People are always excited to find out that David is their Project Manager. He's trusted with complex scopes, calm under pressure, and the kind of person who carries a lot so his clients don't have to.

What drives him? The end result and the moment clients see it for the first time.

His advice: watch your budget and only do what you can afford. A well-executed project today is always better than an overextended one.

We're glad to have you on the team!

A backyard project can be easy, but a backyard that feels intentional is a different thing entirely.

Cedar ceilings, integrated lighting, Douglas fir beams, and glass railings that keep the backyard views open. A covered space designed to be used morning to night, not just on perfect days.

What would make you use your outdoor space more?

Marking a milestone this month with Maggie, celebrating 1 year on the Amsted team!

As a Selections Coordinator, Maggie guides homeowners through some of the most exciting and overwhelming decisions in a renovation. She has a gift for helping clients see the potential in their space, and genuinely loves the moment they start to see it, too.

Detail-oriented, forward-thinking, and always the one walking in with a smile, she's exactly the kind of person who makes big decisions feel manageable.

Her advice: spend some time thinking about the pain points in your current setup. The more honest you are about what's not working, the better the solution can be.

Maggie. Happy Anniversary!

When you build a home that backs onto nature like this, every design decision should draw you closer to it.

Warm wood frames, clean sightlines, three sides that open fully in summer. And on the opposite wall, a gas fireplace, so the space belongs to all four seasons.

What would you use a space like this for most?

Good design is about more than how a space looks. It’s about how it supports you over time.

As we head into National AccessAbility Week, we’re taking some time to talk about what accessible design really means in a home. Not just for aging in place, but for creating spaces that are easier, safer, and more comfortable to live in day-to-day.

From material choices to lighting and how you move through the space, small details can make a meaningful difference.

Join our Designer, Chris, who is Adaptiv and Rick Hansen Foundation Certified, for a virtual conversation on accessible renovations and how thoughtful design can support the way you live, now and into the future.

This month, we are celebrating 4 years with Jazmine!

Jazmine works across both design and selections at Amsted, and the way she approaches both reflects exactly who she is. Thoughtful, intentional, and solutions-oriented, she doesn't just respond to what a client asks for. She listens carefully, thinks it through, and often brings ideas to the table that clients hadn't even considered, and then loves watching them get excited about it.

That kind of thinking shows up in her advice too: before you renovate, pay attention to how you actually move through your home. Which spaces do you love? Which ones do you avoid? How do you naturally flow from room to room? The answers tell you more than any inspiration board can.

Happy anniversary! We're lucky to have you!

Mirrored walls, brass fixtures, pink marble from floor to ceiling. Every surface competing for attention.

The renovation stripped it back. Clean tile, a freestanding soaker tub, and frameless glass. From overwhelming to calm.

If you could change one thing about your bathroom tomorrow, what would it be?

Celebrating 9 years with Cory!

With 18 years of hands-on experience, from cabinetry and framing to project management, Cory brings a rare depth to his role. Working with our Home Care team in Brockville, he guides homeowners from the very first conversation all the way through to a finished project, and his background means he understands every step in between.

Cory's the kind of person you can count on. Quick to lend a hand, easy to work with, and genuinely invested in turning a client's vision into reality, big job or small.

His advice to homeowners: know what you want, know what you can spend, and plan for the unknowns.

Happy anniversary, Cory!

Good kitchen design isn’t always about adding more. It’s about knowing what to leave out.

This kitchen balances closed storage, where the everyday lives, and open shelving, where it earns its place. A softer palette, natural materials, and just enough contrast give the space depth without overwhelming it.

Do you prefer open shelving or keeping everything tucked away?
