I finished writing my book about propagating plants using plant tissue culture. I had posted short articles about TC and got a ton of questions about how to do it.

I wrote the book as simple as I could explain it. It covers getting plants into TC, multiplication, rooting them, and hardening them off.

It tells how to make and measure the plant growth regulators, media, and sterilizers. It explains how to make solutions that are easy to use and measure.

I've explained it as simply as I could. I had posted a lot of material before and received positive feedback. The trailer article got more than 20,000 views with good feedback.

If you want to start plant tissue culture this is a good start I believe. I wrote it all from my personal experience learning plant tissue culture while improvising supplies learning the hardest bits.

Coral propagation! Nice to see more of it. Corals can be propagated at home with cement plugs and glue. Some of the operations in Florida were amazing in the amount of other organisms that came around when the frames started to mature and grow.

Tour operators in Australia are giving back to the Great Barrier Reef by repurposing their idle vessels and staff for coral restoration missions.

I sometimes press plants that I grow or collect for future reference or just to look at. I don't have a huge collection but I started after I made a visit to Kew Gardens and saw some in the galleries. I hadn't considered them art until then for some reason.

Have any of you considered making herbarium pages?
