Our Fredericton team recently completed the installation and commissioning of high-efficiency propane unit heaters for a forest nursery operation — supporting reliable temperature control for healthy seedling growth and uninterrupted operations.

Meet Sadie Carmichael

International Women’s Day is this Sunday, but we wanted to start recognizing it today by sharing a story from the early days of Carmichael.

Born in 1904 near the Quebec–Ontario border, Sadie helped support the company in its earliest days by keeping the books while the business found its footing.

Her influence was quiet, but lasting.

Today, we honour Sadie and thank the women of Carmichael across Canada whose leadership and dedication continue to shape our company.

La Journée internationale des femmes a lieu ce dimanche, mais nous voulions commencer à la souligner dès aujourd’hui en partageant une histoire des débuts de Carmichael.

Née en 1904 près de la frontière entre le Québec et l’Ontario, Sadie a soutenu l’entreprise dans ses premières années en tenant les livres pendant que l’entreprise prenait son envol.

Son influence était discrète, mais durable.

Aujourd’hui, nous rendons hommage à Sadie et remercions les femmes de Carmichael partout au Canada qui continuent de façonner notre entreprise.

There are jobs… and then there are iconic jobs.
This project took us inside the Calgary Tower, a building every Calgarian recognizes, but very few get to see behind the scenes.
Our team was tasked with replacing critical mechanical systems, including the chillers that keep this landmark operating day in and day out. Because the Tower welcomes visitors from around the world, all work had to be completed overnight, carefully planned and flawlessly executed.

y a des projets… et puis il y a des projets emblématiques.
Ce mandat nous a menés à l’intérieur de la Tour de Calgary — un bâtiment que tous les Calgariens reconnaissent, mais que très peu ont la chance de découvrir dans ses coulisses.
Notre équipe avait pour mission de remplacer des systèmes mécaniques essentiels, dont les refroidisseurs qui permettent à ce lieu emblématique de fonctionner jour après jour. Comme la Tour accueille des visiteurs du monde entier, l’ensemble des travaux devait être réalisé de nuit, avec une planification rigoureuse et une exécution impeccable.

Jon, l’un de nos techniciens en réfrigération, s’est rendu dans le Nord pour remettre un congélateur communautaire en service, juste à temps pour l’arrivée d’une barge remplie de dindes pour l’Action de grâce 🦃❄️
Travail en région éloignée. Impact réel. Aucun raccourci.
