Previous owner had composite deck boards on balcony. Building was repairing all balconies, so they had to remove all deck boards. New condo owner ask me to reinstall deck boards. I’ve never came across 5” slop in a 8’ wide balcony area. Now I understand why previous owner had this done. 20 stories up walking towards railing, almost felt like walking downhill. Due to the rise of the balcony deck floor, they had to rise the height of the railing to code. Once all completed client was happy to walk out on more levelled balcony.
