I had the honor of auctioning these two pieces to support the AIDS Committee of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and area. Only one sold, but every step counts toward making a difference! 🫶🏻

Just before all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season we added some color to our dining room with an amazing mural by Manuel Murillo.
The mural is inspired by our very own courtyard; this way, no matter the season we can enjoy the view of lush trees, flowerbeds and wildlife.

Manuel Murillo is a 32 years old, Mexican artist now local to the Kitchener, Waterloo area. He studied in the Instituted of Fine Arts of Guadalajara, and has made some other murals both commercial and residential. He mostly works with acrylic and its inspired by nature, and combines different styles from painterly to Impressionism. With a cartoonish touch.
He also helps the community by working in the non-profit ACCKWA and volunteering. You can see more of his work at this art instagram: murillo_murals.
