Employee Highlight: Mike Charbonneau
Mike started with DILFO as a sheet metal apprentice in 1988 and is now our General Superintendent. Over the years, he has worked on many major projects including the Canadian Tire Centre, CSIS, and the Chinook Helicopter Hangar.
DILFO has been part of the Charbonneau family for three generations. Mike’s father worked here before him, and today Mike works alongside his two sons, continuing a family tradition built on hard work, skill, and pride in the trade.
When asked what matters most in his work, Mike put it simply: do it right the first time and be someone people can count on. That mindset has earned him the respect of crews, partners, and clients across the industry.
Outside of work, you’ll find Mike hunting, fishing, spending time at the cottage, or cutting wood for his sawmill.
