With the new tariff rulings, we'd like to assure our homeowners that we will endeavour to buy Canadian as much as possible. Time will tell to see how things pan out with our suppliers etc.

Today we had a team breakfast at High 5 sports bar to thank everyone for working so hard with the backwater valves and associated flooding jobs.
Kudos to our plumbers and apprentices for shifting lots of gravel and concrete and kudos to our fantastic office crew for booking homeowners in and processing the permits and RPPP paperwork!
(We highly recommend a permit!)

We will be at this years Ottawa Humane Society Wiggle Waggle walkathon on September 26th at the Hogs Back.
We will of course have our dog drinking vessels (toilets- they are our designated dog drinking toilets- never used!)
Captain Dave will be there with a backwater valve and to answer questions about home protection and flooding.
We hope to see some of you there!

This morning we heard from a homeowner who wanted to go through the city to have a backwater valve installed because they flooded on July 1st.

They had called some other companies to get this done, and the homeowner was discouraged from getting a permit for various reasons. (more hassle for the company, no inspection etc)

He was glad to have found us as we are very diligent in the permit process and very keen to educate our homeowners on how it works.

Getting a permit for these jobs is very important-it protects you as the home owner and your home, it will show that the valve has been installed correctly because it has been inspected by the city inspector and you may be eligible for rebates from the city.

Please, please do get a permit for this work to prevent headaches in the future.

Our fantastic office crew are working very hard to get the documents processed for the many permits in the works, and we are happy to do them because it's important :)

It’s International cat day today!
So we’d like to showcase our wonderful office kitties, Spooky, Merry and Pippin!
Merry and Pippin enjoy sitting in places that have people around them, whereas Spooky will stick to people like Velcro. In fact he In Captain Dave’s lap buddy and who needs to be lifted and carried whenever Dave needs to move around the office.
