DWS is growing, and fast. We are in need of a Roll Off Truck/Supplies Delivery Driver to join team! Do you have what it takes?

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy truck
- Load and unload cargo/supplies
- Properly track and document activity logs
- Report any issues or incidents to yard/office
- Inspect truck before and after trip and document

Qualifications:
- 3 Years previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Commercial driver's license AZ or DZ license is required
- Clear drivers abstract
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and the Ottawa Valley Region.

Wage: $28-36, plus 10% vacation pay, benefits from day 1 and deferred profit sharing plan after probationary.

Benefits: We provide medical, dental, extended medical and life insurance coverage as part of our standard benefits for workers. We also offer clothing, pension plan benefits and bonuses depending on the worker’s performance.

Other Stuff to Know: This position requires working 40 to 50 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Our business is weather dependent. Most common work schedule is from 6am to 5pm with 30 minutes of unpaid lunch and 2 paid breaks of 15 min. Flexibility on schedule is required. Nights/weekends/overtime may be required depending on the weather conditions and projects schedules.

Must haves: enjoy working outdoors (in all weather conditions), physically fit, great personality and communication, team player, willingness to work long hours and has their G license and own vehicle (required).

No experience required. All training is done in-house, online, and on-the-job. Opportunities to grow with the company (with continuous training both on and off site). Most trainings are paid for.

JOB DUTIES
Specific Skills:
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials
• Remove rubble and debris at construction sites using rakes, shovel, wheelbarrows, and other equipment
• Assist in removing old roofs and installing new roofing systems
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as air compressors, reciprocating saws, air guns, nail guns, and drills
• Assist in installing, repairing, or replacing single=ply roofing system using waterproofing sheet materials
• Install sheet flashing (metal)
• Assist in applying waterproof coating to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
• Set up safety equipment
• Move materials
• Discard garbage
• Assist heavy equipment operators secure loads, signal operators to guide them, provide assistance as needed
• Direct traffic as directed
