The crew is working through the base grading on this waterfront job, getting the ground ready for the layers that follow. It takes time to get this stage right, even though it’ll eventually be covered up.

🍂 A quick look at your trees now could save you a headache later.

As we head into fall and winter, take a minute to actually look up. Dead or hanging branches, cracks and splits, cavities, decay, or changes that simply don’t look right can be warning signs worth paying attention to.

Snow, ice and winter winds can put a lot more stress on an already weakened tree.

A look behind the scenes at one of our recent shoreline projects.

This job takes a lot more than moving stone. Our crew has been excavating and preparing the site, installing geotextile and drainage, placing and grading aggregate, and working with large armour stone along the shoreline to create a strong, properly built foundation.

Working this close to the lake brings its own challenges, but this is the kind of project we love taking on.
