🌿 How to Dry Limelight Hydrangea Blooms 🌿
Limelight hydrangeas are beautiful fresh, but they’re just as gorgeous dried — and they can last for months! Here’s my simple method:
1️⃣ Cut your blooms
Cut the stem back to just above a set of leaves.
2️⃣ Strip the lower leaves
Remove the leaves from the stem, leaving only the ones directly underneath the flower head.
3️⃣ Give them a gentle rinse
Gently rinse the blooms to remove any little bugs hiding inside. 🐛
4️⃣ Let them drip dry
Give the blooms some time to drip dry before bringing them inside.
5️⃣ Place them in a vase
Cut each stem on an angle and place the blooms in a vase filled about ¼ of the way with water.
6️⃣ Now, just let them dry!
Leave the hydrangeas in the vase and allow the water to naturally evaporate. As it does, the blooms will slowly dry while keeping their beautiful shape.
