We understand why people want their driveway cleared by 7 AM .

But here’s the reality:
SNOW DOESN’T ALWAYS STOP AT MIDNIGHT. 🌨️

If a storm ends at 8 PM, 10 PM, or even midnight, that gives us hours to work through our routes before the morning.

But if it’s still snowing heavily at 4 AM, the situation is completely different.
Imagine a heavy storm from 12 AM–4 AM dumping 10+ centimetres of snow across town. We can’t physically clear all of our driveways at the exact same time.
🚜 We have to work through our route.�❄️ We have to deal with changing road conditions.�🌨️ We have to account for how much snow is still falling.�⏰ And sometimes, there simply aren’t enough hours between the end of the storm and 7 AM.
We could promise everyone a by 7 AM clearing time — but that would mean making a promise we can’t honestly guarantee during a major overnight storm.
We’d rather be honest with you than make promises just to get your business.
Our goal is to get through our routes as safely and efficiently as possible, while dealing with the conditions Mother Nature gives us.

We know our snow shovelling add on prices have increased and we want to be completely transparent about why.

Because the reality is the amount of snow and the amount of work has increased dramatically.

2023/2024
➡️ Over 230cm of snow

☃️ 2024/2025
➡️ Over 460 cm of snow

☃️ 2025/2026
➡️ Over 490 cm of snow

Last winter, some walkways were being shoveled for approximately $5 PER SNOWFALL.

For the labour, time, travel, equipment, and physical work required to clear a walkway — often during some of the worst weather of the year.

That simply isn't sustainable.

We’re not increasing our prices because we want to charge more.

We’re increasing them because the cost and workload of providing the service have changed.

When you hire us for snow removal, you're paying for more than someone showing up with a shovel and a tractor. You're paying for someone who commits to being there storm after storm, all winter long.

We are a small family-owned and operated business, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Our goal is to provide dependable service, pay our employees fairly, cover the real costs of the work, and still be here when the next storm hits. ❄️💪
