Who we are + why 🩷

Parklane Living is where our love of plants, creativity, and connection come together. 🌿

We grow many of the herbs and botanicals used in our handcrafted tea blends, but what we do goes beyond tea. Through workshops, therapeutic horticulture, gardening, and creating with plants, we want to share the many ways nature can become part of our everyday lives.

Why do we do it?

Because we believe there is value in knowing what we grow, learning how plants can be used, getting our hands dirty, creating something ourselves, and simply spending more time connected to the natural world.

Parklane Living is about growing, creating, learning, and sharing what we love with our community.

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡

Today, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities.

We recognize the tragic and painful history of Canada’s residential school system and the lasting impacts it continues to have on Indigenous Peoples and communities today.

Truth and reconciliation require listening, learning, reflection, and a continued commitment to understanding our shared history.

Today, and every day, we encourage our community to take the time to learn, reflect, and honour the experiences and voices of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

🌿 What We Grow: Raspberry

Known for its sweet summer berries, raspberry has something else to offer our teacups: its leaves! 🍃

At Parklane Living, we grow raspberry and use its leaves in some of our herbal tea blends. With a mild, earthy flavour, they complement the other herbs without bringing the berry taste you might expect.

It’s a lovely reminder that there’s more to a plant than the part we know best. From our gardens to your cup, every ingredient has its place. ☕
