Another major ash tree removal project completed! 🌳💪

Over several days, our team safely removed multiple hazardous ash trees, finishing with a highly productive day alongside the grapple saw crew. Working together allowed us to tackle large, challenging removals efficiently while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who show up every day for their families.

Here at Woodland, we’re fortunate to have many amazing dads on our team. Today, however, we’d like to give special recognition to one in particular — my dad, Richard.

Not only has he been my biggest supporter my entire life, but since day one of Steve and I starting Woodland Tree Service, he has been there guiding, encouraging, supporting, and always believing in us.

With more than 40 years of successfully running his own business, he knows firsthand the challenges that come with entrepreneurship. On those days when you’re questioning everything, he’s always been the voice reminding us to stay positive and, as he likes to say, “Just keep swinging.”

From the very beginning, he ended almost every phone call and text to Steve and me with the same two words:

“Chop Chop.”

It became more than a saying—it became a reminder to keep moving forward no matter what. That’s why it only felt right to put “CHOP CHOP” on one of our trucks as a tribute to someone who has played such an important role in Woodland’s journey.

Have you ever wondered about the story behind the Woodland Tree Service logo?

When we were creating our logo, I wanted it to have meaning. I researched Ontario’s official tree, the Eastern White Pine, and drew inspiration from the province we call home and the forests we work in every day.

The three trees in our logo are especially meaningful to our family. They represent our three daughters and serve as a daily reminder of why we built this business in the first place. Family has always been at the heart of Woodland Tree Service.

What started as a dream has grown into a family-owned company serving homeowners and businesses throughout Orillia, Ramara, Oro-Medonte, Severn, and across Simcoe County. Every property we visit, every tree we care for, and every client we serve reflects the values that inspired our logo from the beginning—strong roots, steady growth, and taking pride in our work.

Thank you to our clients, friends, family, and community for supporting us on this journey. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

🌳 Another great day for the Woodland Tree Service crew in beautiful Springwater Township!

Today’s project involved several tree removals beside a local farm with crops growing in the field. Our experienced crew carefully planned the work to ensure every tree was removed safely without damaging the surrounding crops or property.

🎥 Watch the video to see that tree curl perfectly away from the field and drop exactly where we wanted it! Precision tree work at its finest.

Great work by the team executing a safe and controlled removal while protecting the crops and surrounding property. We always enjoy working in Springwater and helping local property owners with their tree care needs.
