I quickly used my hand plane to clean up the end of this live edge, walnut slab out of curiosity. It always amazes me the beauty that's hidden beneath the surface of the rough sawn exterior. It's a perfect metaphor that can relate directly to people or life itself. Can't wait to turn this into something that can show off its full potential!

It was an honour to do some work for the Army, Navy, & Air Force Veterans in Canada (Orillia). They had two small rooms that we converted into one big office. (They still have an electrician doing some work, hence the open ceiling tiles). There were originally two walls that branched off into a Y shape that had a door on each wall. Those walls and doors were removed and capped off with a false beam at the ceiling, and the new wall went straight across with only one door added for entry into the bigger office!

New flooring ! A great way to change a standard bedroom into an office space or a study. Ripped out the old dirty carpet and installed this beautiful woodland flooring.
