We’re hiring an experienced AZ/DZ Dump Truck Driver to join the Allto Construction team.

We’re looking for someone dependable, professional and experienced with triaxle dump trucks.

• Up to $36/hour based on experience and duties
• Weekly pay
• Benefits and RSP program
• Local work, typically within one hour of Orangeville
• Year-round employment
• Modern, well-maintained fleet
• Opportunities to learn additional skills and advance

Applicants should have a valid Ontario AZ or DZ licence, a clean driver’s abstract and at least 3 years of commercial driving experience.

Yesterday our crew excavated and exposed the existing municipal watermain on this multi-residential project in the Town of Orangeville to confirm its exact location and elevation ahead of today’s directional drilling operation.

Today, the plan is to drill beneath the roadway and install the new water service connection for the development. Yesterday, we also decommissioned the existing water service as part of the changeover.

This is one piece of a much larger project where Allto Construction has been completing the site excavation, underground servicing, grading, parking lot construction and associated site work.

From breaking ground to connecting the final services, having one contractor manage the work below your boots helps keep the project moving.

Trying out a couple new machines this week.

We have a CAT 260 and 270 on demo to see how they perform in the type of work we do every day.

There is only so much you can learn from specs. The real test is getting them on site, putting hours on them and seeing how they handle real working conditions.

Yesterday I happened to spot one of our septic pump trucks working right here in the Town of Orangeville.

While most of Orangeville is serviced by municipal sewer, there are still a number of homes within town limits that remain on septic systems. Those systems still need regular pumping and maintenance.

For those homeowners, Allto Construction can help with septic pump-outs, repairs, maintenance and replacement.

Can you pump a septic tank in the winter?

Yes, in most cases.

The bigger challenge is often accessing the tank once the ground is frozen or the lids are buried beneath snow.

If your septic tank is already due for service, fall can be a good time to get it done before winter conditions make access more difficult.

Shelburne’s new KFC is officially open! 🍗

We grabbed these photos just before opening, once the parking lot and final pavement markings were complete. One detail that really stood out was the red drive-thru markings tying into the KFC branding. It was a small touch that helped bring the whole site together.

The finished building and site came together really sharp, and we’re proud to have been part of the project.

Have you stopped in for some chicken yet? I still need to make my way over and try some of Colonel Sanders’ famous recipe.

Progress continues at the new Orangeville Fire Station.

The building excavation is complete, structural steel is up, and the concrete floor is now in the pouring and finishing process.

Allto Construction is completing the site work, including excavation, grading, cut and fill, sewer and water servicing, and the dirt work required to keep the project moving.

Great to see this important local project taking shape.

A lot of material moved and a lot of grading on this one.

Our crew has been building and shaping this berm over hundreds of feet, placing and grading hundreds of loads of fill followed by topsoil to bring everything to final grade.

The dozer has been putting in the work, and the finished slopes are coming together nicely.
