• Assist with site prep, digging, grading, and planting
• Load/unload materials and tools
• Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment (training provided)
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Support team with general tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Experience is a plus but not required – we’re willing to train the right person

DDD Landscape and Contracting is seeking an experienced hardscaper with, Team Leadership experience, to join our growing team. This is a Full-time, permanent position. We mainly work within the Dufferin County Area.
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Foreperson with a focus in Hardscaping. Individuals with significant experience/certification, and education will result in wage premiums.
Experience with power tools and landscape construction machinery is essential. We build interlock walkways, driveways, retaining walls, pergolas, privacy screens, stone surrounds, staircases, fences, decks etc. Experience integrating horticultural materials, plants, sodding and trees is a plus.
Minimum of two years of experience working with natural and engineered stone products: excavating, grading, leveling, laying and sealing of stonework.
Job Description:
• Operate various tools and equipment, including: saws, tampers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
• Assist and support team members to complete their tasks
• Assist in the construction of walkways, patios, fences, decks etc.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects.
• Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying.
• Comply with all company policies and regulations.
• Minimum two year experience in the landscape/construction industry, with knowledge of interlock, retaining walls, flagstone, excavators, skid steers, etc.
• Capable of operating equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
• Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction projects.
• Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks (lift a minimum of 50lbs)
• Preference will be given to candidates with a valid driver’s license

DDD Landscape and Contracting is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. This is a Full-time, permanent position. We mainly work within the Dufferin County Area.
We are seeking an individual with 5+ years of carpentry experience. Individuals with significant experience/certification, and education will result in wage premiums. Benefits after 3 month probation. Pay range $30.00-35.00 an hour

Job Description:
• Operate various tools and equipment, including: saws, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
• Assist and support team members to complete their tasks
• Assist in the construction of fences, decks, posts, pergolas etc.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects.
• Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, and hand lifting/carrying.
• Comply with all company policies and regulations.
• Experience with carpentry is an asset
• Capable of operating equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
• Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
• Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks (lift a minimum of 50lbs)

DDD Landscape and Contracting is actively looking for hard working individuals to join our team for the upcoming landscape season. We are looking for landscape foremen and general labourers. We specialize in hardscapes and wood working. Previous landscape or carpentry experience is an asset but not mandatory as our professional team is willing to train. Must be able to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license is an asset. Pay is $18 to $30 based on experience.
