Whispering Pines Landscaping is a full service landscaping company out of based out of Orangeville Ontario. We employ 50 people from our local community and continue to grow. Our team at WPL execute large scale projects in a safe and timely manner, while letting our creative abilities shine throughout our work. We work closely with developers and commercial properties in our area as well, and offer large packages that will take care of all your commercial property needs.

Nestled along the breathtaking St. Lawrence River, this stunning residence is a beautiful example of what can be achieved when exceptional architecture, thoughtful landscape design, and skilled craftsmanship come together.

We had the privilege of collaborating with renowned landscape architect Walter Kehm, a Harvard-educated designer, Fellow of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, and internationally recognized visionary whose work spans more than 25 countries, including Toronto's iconic Tommy Thompson Park.

Alongside Malcolm Wildeboer, Principal Architect at Vandenberg & Wildeboer Architects, an Ottawa-based firm with over 30 years of experience creating distinctive, thoughtfully designed spaces, this project brought together an incredible team of talent and expertise.

From the architecture to the surrounding landscape, every element works together to complement the natural beauty of this extraordinary waterfront setting.

Our Whispering Pines team is incredibly proud to have played a part in bringing Thousand Islands to life. It's projects like these, and the people we have the opportunity to collaborate with, that make what we do so rewarding.

Clinton has been an important part of our Construction team for the past 5 years, bringing his experience, skill, and positive attitude to every project he takes on. As a Construction Lead Hand, he takes pride in his work and brings valuable expertise, versatility, and attention to detail to all aspects of landscape construction. ✨ Among The Pines ✨

Meet Shawn, one of our Lawn Maintenance Crew Leaders at our Speedside location! With years of experience, incredible pruning expertise, and a contagious smile, Shawn brings a wealth of knowledge and a positive attitude to the team.

🌿 A little about Shawn:
✂️ Favourite piece of equipment? His chainsaw!
🍁 Favourite tree? The Japanese maple, thanks to its beautiful structure and foliage — and because it’s his favourite to prune!
🚢 Fun fact: Shawn met his wife, Jodi, while working on a Disney cruise ship!

One of Shawn’s favourite moments this season was a pine tree project where raising the canopy completely transformed a customer's property. Seeing the difference his work made was especially rewarding!

When asked what advice he would give to new crew members, Shawn shared: “Bring a strong work ethic and positive attitude each day. Those two things are in your control and go a long way on the job site. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. We were all new once.”

What Shawn appreciates most about working at WPL is feeling respected and valued as a person — something we’re proud to foster across our team. 💚
