Sitka Log Homes remains an original family operated company. Our experience and expertise in log home building began back in 1969.

Located in 100 Mile House, BC, (The Handcrafted Log Home Building Capital of North America) Sitka Log Homes builds custom log homes, log cabins, timber frame and hybrid homes. Over the years we have built everything from small vacation log cabins to large commercial log and timber frame resorts. An old cabin has a character all its own, and we wanted to keep that feeling as we added a little more room.

For this addition, our Sitka Log Homes crew worked to match the rustic look of the original logs and the simple details that give this very old cabin its charm. Along with that traditional appearance, we used modern building methods to bring strength, stability, and lasting durability to the new space.

Projects like this are a pleasure to work on—helping an old cabin begin its next chapter while keeping the character that makes it special. Thanks to Dimps at Watch Lake Lodge for giving us the opportunity to work on this project.

Another project wrapped up and looking sharp!

We recently completed two new custom timber entryways for Chemo RV in 100 Mile House. Big thanks to the team for another great build and to Chemo RV for trusting Sitka Log Homes with the project. You may have seen our previous post showing the work behind the sign — and now here it is all together and standing proud.

A special thank you to Werner Hein for all of the hard work, coordination, and effort that helped bring this project together from start to finish.

Bringing new life back to a local landmark.
Our craftsman Jay is currently refinishing the sign for our local soccer fields — restoring the wood, renewing the details, and helping create something the community can continue to enjoy for years to come.
