🎶My Milkweed brings the beneficial’s to my yard 🎶
Showy Milkweed (Asclepius speciosa) isn’t just for the butterflies. It also acts as a feeding station and hatchery for beneficial insects like lady bugs, parasitic wasps, and lace wings.

Freshening up a retaining wall with pollinator friendly plants like Bee balm, Echinacea, Aster, and Yarrow.

I don’t like to rely solely on flowers to add colour to the landscape. I choose plants that have colourful foliage and texture, so it helps to keep your garden interesting long after the flowers have faded away.

Spotted a “rabbit” on my little stroll yesterday!
I love Rabbitbrush (Ericameria nauseosa) for its delicate foliage, bright yellow flowers, and those adorable fluffy seed heads! It is one of my favourite native plants to use in a design.

Design season is on the go, but sometimes I need to walk away from my laptop for a moment to go do some gardening of my own.
Lavender pruning was very therapeutic 💚
