Sometimes we get asked: Why do you raise your own meat?

Well to because we know how they were treated, that they got fresh grass, they enjoyed fresh air daily, what food they ate, and that they enjoyed life until the end.

The flavour is amazing also / but knowing that the animals thrived and lived a great life is best.

Pictured below are our 8 week old Meat Turkeys.
There are 5 Mini Broad Breasted and 2 Standard Broad Breasted.

At just 8 weeks old they weight between 9lb-11lb and are still growing!

My Silkies are thinking that it's nearing time to go broody!!

🤭 Now is the true debate..... should I sneak some hatching eggs under them? Perhaps another breed to add?

Currently I do not offer shipping for our hatching eggs- but, I do offer more cushioned packaging for the drive to their destinations .❤️

Here's one of our Silkie Hatching Egg Dozen packs (2 Extras!) packed up for safe travel.

Paper towels for extra cushion under each egg, then topped with paper napkins to help block direct sunlight/breezes from touching the eggs. 🥚🐣

Silkie eggs are smaller than average eggs so the extra cushioning helps prevent jolting around too in the cartons. 🥰
