Meet the Team – Justin Shewchuk, Co-Founder & Director
With over 15 years of hands-on experience in the plumbing and heating industry, Justin is the proud founder and driving force behind Double J Plumbing & Heating. What started as a one-man operation and a fully stocked van has grown into a trusted, locally respected business known for quality workmanship, reliability, and honest service.
From day one, Justin built the company on simple values: do the job right, treat customers with respect, and never cut corners. That approach has earned the team a solid reputation across Okotoks & the Foothills area—and it’s what keeps clients coming back year after year.
Before founding Double J in 2020, Justin spent years in the trade, mastering everything from emergency repairs to large-scale installations. Today, while overseeing on site operations, he primarily focuses on quoting, hydronic installations, and training our team.
When Justin isn’t on-site or managing the team, you’ll likely find him exploring the local parks and festivals with his family or enjoying a round of golf with friends.
