“I just want to swim!”
I love when clients come to us excited about what their backyard could become. They usually have that one thing they can’t wait for, and for this homeowner, it was definitely the pool!
But as we talked, they wanted so much more from their outdoor space. Somewhere to entertain friends, relax by the fire, enjoy family dinners outside and love being home.
That’s the part of designing I enjoy most. Taking all those conversations, ideas and wish lists and figuring out how to bring them together into one beautiful, functional space.
I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at the actual plans for this project we’re building right now. From the stunning pool and water feature to the outdoor living area, fireplace and even the plantings, there’s a lot of thought that goes into every detail.
Follow along as we bring this one to life. I can’t wait for you to see it finished!
And if there’s one thing this project has reminded us, it’s how much happens before construction even begins. Between the design process, permits and approvals, getting to that first swim takes more time than you might think!
If a new pool or backyard transformation is on your 2027 wish list, now is a great time to start dreaming and designing together.
Dream. Design. Build. Connect.

When you start with the entire property, you get a cohesive design that maximizes your property's space and potential.
A gorgeous pool topped this client's wish list. We work with the best pool builders in the area to make sure you love your pool. The pool water feature adds drama and sound to this space.
More and more clients request a space that feels like your inside when you're outside! Feeling the breezes with the comforts of an interior design.
Details take time, but they’re what make a project truly special. We pay close attention to every detail, no matter how small, and when we thoughtfully incorporate them into the design from the start, they really stand out.
The planting brings this design to life. With years of experience building in Southern Ontario, we know which plants and species
