Getting close to wrapped up on this one, dark colours always show all the minor details compared to light ones. It’s an expectation, always check after the first coat regardless of how good it looks prior to make sure you end with a quality finish. Even got a few kisses for doing such an awesome job! 😆😅🤫

No scratches & no fisheyes. Straight box mud without water added, no problems.

If a painter can do it, why can’t drywallers? Over watering the mud weakens the glue & makes the mud very susceptible to scratches even from sanding & dings or premature tape breaks but people will convince others that it needs to be done in order to make the mud easier to work with & to sand - no other trade waters down their materials to make their job “easier”.

Make sure when you’re hiring tradesmen, that they actually know what they are doing! Some of the stuff we’ve witnessed over the past few years is getting beyond scary! 😨

Started sanding this basement today. Got half of it primed, then finish the other half tomorrow. Then touch ups & paint!

Very close to having this one wrapped up, just in time for the owner’s move in date. Hired last minute, started almost the next day & here we are meeting the deadline before other trades have completed. The drywaller did a horrible job, and didn’t want to come back to fix their mistakes but we are glad the homeowners are very happy with the results of our finish!

Needless to say, we will be getting that first call for future taping, along with the painting of the garage when that time is due. 🤘

Red brick & awnings sprayed - Blue bands by hand.
Railings were hand brushed.
Everything else cut & roll.
