One of MPA Concrete Contracting & Consulting’s first major projects — the York Region Paramedic Station in Vaughan — and easily one of the biggest learning curves of my life.
There was always room for improvement. Always. That job taught me the real meaning of planning, and how fast things can swing from one extreme to another in construction. When that happens, all you can do is stay versatile, stay disciplined, and push forward no matter what.
I learned to trust God in the middle of uncertainty — not after the fact. Keep showing up. Keep leading. No shortcuts.
I was also blessed with two incredible partners and a team of exceptionally talented people who shared the same vision and standards. That alignment is everything. Pressure doesn’t break teams like that — it sharpens them.
This project didn’t just build a paramedic station.
It built the foundation of how we operate at MPA today.
Grateful for the lessons. Grateful for the people.
Always moving forward.
