Built with a pre-engineered Butler steel system, this clear span addition maximizes usable space without interior columns, giving the team more flexibility on the floor. ⁠

The TLS roof paired with Butler’s MR-24 system brings serious durability, while a two-layer insulation approach achieves an R40 roof value, built for energy efficiency and to handle the demands of a Manitoba climate.⁠

From overhead door jambs to the full structural integration, every detail was considered to make this addition feel seamless with the original build—because when you know the client, you know what matters.

Scope included office space, mezzanine, warehouse operations, and a fire-rated explosion-proof storage room.⁠

Delivered in 2020 on a tight budget and timeline, with structural modifications, drainage solutions, and value engineering required throughout.⁠

Completed on schedule and qualified for Manitoba Hydro’s energy efficiency rebate.

PROGRESS UPDATE - The Capri Flats ⁠

Hollow-core installation is officially underway.⁠

Just days ago, you could see the sky from the main floor; today, we’re standing on the third floor. ⁠

By using precast slabs, we aren’t just building for strength; we’re building for speed. These planks give us an immediate, solid platform, allowing our crews to move straight into vertical framing without the wait.⁠

Once complete, The Capri Flats will be a modern 10-storey, 240-unit residential building along Pembina Highway, designed as a vibrant urban community. Thoughtfully planned suites, shared amenities, and landscaped outdoor spaces create homes that are functional, comfortable, and connected to the city.

PROGRESS UPDATE: The Cambridge ⁠

Across the street from our recently completed multi-family development, “The Pemby,” we stopped to check in on the progress at our next undertaking, “The Cambridge.” Currently in the early stages of breaking ground.⁠

Once complete, The Cambridge will be a six-storey multi-family residential development along Pembina Highway in Winnipeg, featuring 87 thoughtfully designed rental suites within a purpose-built urban infill project. Designed for durability, accessibility, and long-term performance, the development will combine contemporary architecture, structured parking solutions, and resident-focused amenities to create a high-quality residential asset in one of Winnipeg’s strongest urban corridors.⁠
