Hi there. I’m sharing this post in hopes of reaching as many people as possible. This is Penny,my mother-in-laws much loved cat. Sadly now that she has passed we desperately need to find a home for her. Please share this post so that we can spread awareness of her. Penny is a beautiful girl born May 15, 2016, and she is fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Her vaccine boosters are due in May and the cost will be covered.
Penny has been with her mom since she was a kitten, and she was deeply loved. Her mom recently passed away, and while finding the right home for Penny might take time, her greatest wish was for Penny to be safe, cared for, and loved again.
Penny is very vocal and full of personality. She loves playing with string toys and will even play fetch sometimes!
She isn’t a lap cat, but she shows affection in her own ways—rubbing against your legs, chatting with you, and slowly building trust. She has always been a bit growly with most people, but she’s already made huge progress and is becoming more and more comfortable, even allowing gentle pets by hand now.
Penny would do best in a quiet, patient home that understands she just needs time to feel safe. She may also be able to adjust to another calm cat with proper introductions, as she has shown curiosity rather than aggression.
She’s a striking cat with long legs and a unique heart-shaped marking on her face—truly one of a kind.
