Completed Project / Seismic Upgrade Support

Scanpro Concrete Imaging, Inc. recently completed high resolution Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) concrete scanning of multiple reinforced concrete columns in support of seismic retrofit involving reinforced concrete column jacketing.

The investigation mapped reinforced steel and identified reinforcement congestion to assist with anchor layout, dowel installation and drilling operations. Accurate as-built reinforcement data is essential for minimizing impacts to existing structural elements and maintaining the integrity of the load path during retrofit construction.
