We love Christmas in Cape Breton SO much. 🎄🔨

Here’s some of the progress on the lighthouse roof in St Ann’s! We’re so thankful the weather has been cooperating so that we can get this done for John and Rosella! St Ann’s is truly a place like no other, where else would there be a seal giving birth to her pup 20 feet away from where you’re working? It’s been a great week!

Happy Hump Day! We haven’t posted in a while - we were so busy soaking up the last rays of sunshine that we almost forgot about Facebook all together. The time has come, the snow seems like it’s here to stay! What seems beautiful and exciting now will quickly become a pain. Now is the time to look at getting those drafty windows and doors fixed or replaced, get that pesky leak in the roof fixed, and hunker down for the next few months! It’s also a great time to start those indoor renovations you’ve been thinking about! If you’ve got to be inside, it should be cozy and comfortable!

Who is CB Renovations? The face of our company is Conrad Barnes. You may think that’s how we chose the name - but it’s actually a triple threat. We chose CB because it’s the initials of the beautiful island we get to call home and lend our skills to, it’s the initials of our front man Conrad Barnes, but it’s also the initials of our daughter Miss Caroline Barnes! What’s in a name? The most important things, in our case! Conrad is a red seal carpenter from Sydney Mines, he has been in the business for just shy of ten years, his wife Jordan hails from Whitney Pier and when they got married deciding where they were going to settle down and raise Caroline was a big decision! After lot of deliberation it was settled, they would settle down in North Sydney, put their roots as deep into the community as possible and try to give back to such a beautiful communitythat has given us so much happiness! So what makes us different?! We are not corporation. We will never see you as numbers and dollar signs. We are the family down the road who is trying to make an honest go of this crazy world of business! We’re always willing to go above and beyond, waim to give you A1 services at a price that is affordable and competitive. Consistently devilering quality work without breaking the bank is our number biggest goal! We have a great team who would love to lend a hand in whatever you need done.
