WE ARE HIRING!
Journeyman Plumber
(Full Time, $35-$40 an hour based on Experience)

We’re looking for a skilled and hard-working journeyman plumber to add to our growing team. In this position, it will be your job to assist our residential and commercial clients with all of their plumbing and drainage issues. You will be apart of a team that specializes in new construction, renovations, and service repair.

As a journeyman plumber, you will work directly with our clients. We take pride in the work completed, and as a part of our team it is required to uphold professionalism on all job sites. A journeyman is required to provide clients with accurate solutions and knowledgeable answers to any questions that clients may have regarding the work. You will also be asked to observe all pertinent health and safety acts while you work.

Journeyman Plumber Skills Required:
• Knowledge and experience of new construction (i.e., rough-ins, underground drainage, venting, and main water feeds)
• Knowledge and application of Ministry of Labour job site rules and regulations
• Safety requirements while working around heavy equipment
• Experience working with different types of water and drainage material (i.e., abs, plastic, pex, copper, and cast iron)
• Experience and knowledge of filtration systems, and water cleaning units
• Experience in seasonal emergency trouble calls (i.e. frozen water lines, sump pumps, winterizing plumbing systems)
• Ability to professionally work with other trades and knowledge of construction timelines and obligations
• Ability and leadership to oversee training of apprentices

Journeyman Plumber Requirements:
• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Certificate
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to use a wide variety of plumbing tools and techniques
• Willingness to respond to emergency plumbing situations
• Clean Criminal Record Check required
