Before and after on the side of this North Bay home. 👇

The old timber steps had done their time. We pulled out the existing timbers and brick and rebuilt the whole climb with Oaks Nueva steps and Oaks Nueva retaining walls, finished with Oaks Ridgefield Smooth pavers on the landings and at the base.

This section is one piece of a bigger job: a new walkway that runs from the driveway, wraps around the side of the house and leads down to a new patio on the lakeside. Full project post coming soon.

Clean lines, solid footing, and nothing left to rot or shift.

Front to back, one property on Airport Hill.

Out front, we built a curved interlock driveway with a contrasting border that wraps around a fresh lawn island, anchored by a mature blue spruce. Stone pillars and black metal fencing tie the whole frontage together.

Out back, the pool area is surrounded by a large interlock patio with a dark accent band framing the pool. The stacked stone slide feature with rope railings is a favourite. Past the pool there's a cabana and a golf putting green, so the yard works for swimming, lounging and a few practice putts. A river rock border finishes off the edge of the yard.

The pool itself was built by our sister company, Complete Pools & Spas. Two crews, one finished yard.

Airport Hill, from the air. This backyard sits on the edge of a steep drop, so the first job was the retaining wall. One tall face of split-face block built into the slope, holding up the whole yard. On top of it we ran a black aluminum fence along the full edge, laid the paver patio in grey with a charcoal border, and built the cabana at the back of the house. A synthetic putting green ties it all together.

Big grade, big wall, and a backyard the owners can actually use.

Steps from the driveway down to the backyard, with a new fence to match. A long run of grey paver steps set tight against the house, a block cheek wall along the fence side, and a paver landing at the bottom with a charcoal border to finish it off. The black aluminum fence went in at the same time, so the whole side yard came together in one job.

Steep lot? We can make it walkable.

This project had a little bit of everything. A full paver patio with a basketball court built right into the stonework, an inground pool, hot tub, fire pit lounge, and new fencing to frame that incredible countryside view.

Court lines, three point arc and all, laid directly into the pavers. Not something you see every day.
