B & C Trenching Ltd. is actively seeking a Construction Labourer to join our team! We are a locally owned company that offers underground construction such as trenching and directional drilling. The successful candidate would be expected to assist equipment operators, perform routine maintenance, equipment transport, site prep, and other routine tasks.

To be considered a successful candidate for this position you must be;

-An approachable individual with a reasonable and responsive attitude.

-Willing to travel occasionally and have the flexibility to work overtime hours.

-Self Motivated and adaptable to changing work situations.

-Attentive and aware of surroundings with a safety focused mindset.

-Willing and have the initiative to work in and contribute to a team.

-Able to conduct pre-operational safety inspections.

-Knowledge of Underground Construction would be preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual

-Must possess a valid Class 5 license, a 1A license would be a valuable asset.

Wage will be based on qualifications and experience.

The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of the industry, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as hydrovac, backhoe, directional drill and excavators.
Follow safety protocols and regulations when operating equipment.
Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles.
Communicate with supervisors and other workers to coordinate work activities.
