This is the painting I did last night! 🎨🥰 My bestie and I each painted our own, and we had such a great time doing it!

Now I’m already looking for what to paint next 😂 I need to find some good autumn and Halloween homestead-style paintings 🎃🍂🐓, I’d love to do something beautiful for Remembrance Day ❤️🌺… and then after that?

I had plans to get SO much done while I was on holidays 🫣 but that hasn’t happen yet and time is running out. 😂

I did get a few things accomplished, cleaned up a bit of the yard, but what I really needed was to rest, recoup, and find a little bit of me again. ❤️

So I decided to paint! 🎨 I’ve done Jesse Robertson’s tutorials before, so I already knew I’d love getting back into it. And tomorrow, a friend is coming over to paint another one with me! 🥰 The one below is called Autumn Stillness.

Maybe I didn’t accomplish everything I planned… but I think I did what I needed. ❤️

Scrubs are in the wash and that can only mean one thing… HOLIDAYS HAVE OFFICIALLY BEGUN! 🙌🏻🎉

Nine whole days off! I’m not going anywhere, it’s a good old fashioned staycation. 🏡❤️

Of course, on a homestead doesn’t exactly mean sitting around doing nothing. 😂 There’s plenty that needs to be done inside the house AND outside on the homestead.

The real challenge will be figuring out where the heck to start… while also reminding myself that I’m supposed to be on holidays and should probably mix in a little downtime too. 😝

Here’s to 9 days of getting things done, enjoying home, spending time with my family and animals, and hopefully sneaking in a few moments of doing absolutely NOTHING. ☀️🐓🐐🌻
