It’s been a busy day around here! 🪵

We’ve been stacking a bunch of the wood that’s already been cut. It was hot, sweaty, dusty work, and I had a few 🕷️ scares, but it needs to get done. Right now our yard looks more like a tree graveyard than a homestead!

Thankfully, 3 out of 5 of us were pitching in today. Many hands make lighter work… eventually! 💪

I haven’t even attempted to w**d the gardens around the house yet. Life has been busy, and yes… those are still Christmas decorations 🤣🎄
I’ve been saving cardboard boxes to use as a w**d barrier, but I hear such mixed reviews on whether it’s a good idea or not!
What’s your go-to w**d control method? Cardboard? Mulch? Landscape fabric? Hours of regretting your life choices while pulling w**ds by hand? 😂🌱
