Carmacks was pleased to participate in a CAREERS career fair in Edmonton, continuing our commitment to youth engagement and workforce development in our communities.

The event was a great opportunity to connect with students through interactive, hands-on booth activities while highlighting careers in construction. Students from across Edmonton and surrounding areas stopped by to ask questions, share laughs, and learn about future career paths.

A big thank-you to our employee, Ryley, for representing Carmacks and sharing real-world experience and career tips. This year’s interactive game, challenging students to identify heavy equipment was a hit, bringing plenty of fun while helping students learn something new! We look forward to continuing to inspire the next generation of industry professionals.

Today, we remember the workers who have been injured, made ill, or lost their lives because of workplace incidents. We also think about the families, friends, and communities forever impacted.

At Carmacks, we believe nothing is more important than making sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day. That’s why building and protecting a strong safety culture matters so much to us—it’s about caring for one another, speaking up, and doing the right thing, every time.

On this Day of Mourning, we reaffirm our commitment to safety and to looking out for our people, today and always.

At Carmacks Industry, our operations are running at full capacity as the construction season is about to begin. This year, we are producing 20 mm GBC aggregate to meet the needs of our customers. 🎯

Carmacks was pleased to attend the Calgary Youth Employment Centre Career Fair, connecting with local youth to share information about career opportunities within our organization.

The event provided a great opportunity to engage with job seekers, highlight our commitment to workforce development, and promote careers in construction and infrastructure. We appreciate the chance to support youth employment initiatives and look forward to continuing our involvement in future community career events.

Carmacks were happy to take part in the Black Gold School Division’s 5th Annual Career Fair and connect with so many enthusiastic high school students interested in the future of construction and skilled trades.

It was inspiring to speak with students who are curious about work life, eager to learn how projects come together, and passionate about building meaningful careers in our industry.

A big thank you to the organizers for inviting us and creating such a valuable opportunity, and special thanks to Dexter for joining our team and sharing his hands‑on experience from the field with the students. With more career fairs coming up, our team is excited to continue connecting with students, job seekers, and community members, and to showcase the many career paths available in construction.

Carmacks had an awesome time connecting with students at this year’s NAIT Hiring Fair! From curious first‑years to soon‑to‑be graduates, it was inspiring to meet so many motivated individuals interested in the work we do. We also ran into a few familiar faces from previous events, always great to see continued enthusiasm for joining Carmacks!

A big shoutout to Bryan, who joined us at the booth and shared his hands‑on field experience with students. His real‑life perspective added so much value to the conversations throughout the day.

Today was full of excitement at Carmacks!

This morning, we were honoured to welcome Devin Dreeshen, the Minister of Transportation and Economic Corridors, at our Calgary office location for a special announcement regarding the 2026 budget and investment into Alberta's infrastructure.

As Carmacks celebrates 50+ years in the industry, we’re incredibly proud of our ongoing partnership with Transportation and Economic Corridors and the Government of Alberta. Working together, we’re helping shape the future of Alberta’s roads, highways, and communities.

Through the VINCI Canada Fund, VINCI supports charities that promote social inclusion and professional integration across Canada.

As part of this commitment, the Fund supported Edmonton’s Food Bank, contributing to the purchase of meat and protein for community programs and helping ensure access to nutritious food for individuals and families across Edmonton.🥩

Beyond this support, Carmacks’ employees have a longstanding connection with Edmonton’s Food Bank. For several years prior to the Fund’s involvement, teams led an annual Food Bank Challenge, most recently donating 174 kg of food ahead of the holiday season and continued this engagement through on‑site volunteering on November 19, 2025, and February 20, 2026, sorting donations, preparing hampers, and supporting distribution.

These initiatives reflect a shared conviction: lasting impact is created when funding is combined with employee engagement🤝. VINCI remains committed to strengthening its partnership with Edmonton’s Food Bank and continuing to support initiatives that foster dignity, inclusion, and opportunity.
