How to prep your spray park for a flawless spring startup! 💦☀️

Opening day is coming in hot! To ensure your facility is safe, efficient, and ready for endless summer fun, follow these essential startup steps before the crowds arrive:

1. Inspect the Surface & Features
Do a thorough walkthrough. Check the splash pad surface for winter damage, cracks, or slip hazards, and inspect all above-ground features for wear and tear.

2. Clear the Drains
Winter debris is a drain’s worst enemy. Clear out all grates, trenches, and drains to ensure water can flow out just as easily as it flows in.

3. Test the Mechanical Systems
Head into the pump room. Inspect your pumps, filters, and valves for leaks or irregularities. Prime the system and ensure everything is communicating perfectly with the controller.

4. Sanitize & Balance
Water quality is priority number one! Shock the system, clean the filters, and get your chemical controllers calibrated to ensure safe, crystal-clear water.

5. The Test Run
Turn it on! Flush the lines, check for optimal water pressure, and make sure every nozzle, bucket, and sprayer is hitting its mark.
