When the call comes in after hours, our team is ready to make it happen!

Recently, our crews responded to two completely different situations at separate locations, both with the same goal: getting power back where it belongs.

At one location, our team was up in the bucket checking primary line voltage to track down a loss of power, ultimately identifying a blown downstream fuse.

At another, our crew was on the ladder installing TECK cable to help restore power to an industrial facility.

Two different challenges, two different locations, and one incredible team ready to get the job done.

At the end of the day, it’s our people who make the difference. Their knowledge, adaptability, and commitment to getting the job done safely are what we’re proud of.

Sometimes bringing power to a new development starts with strengthening the infrastructure already in place.

Our line crew did an excellent job on this pole replacement, upgrading an existing 45’ Class 4 pole to a 45’ Class 2 pole in preparation for the local utility to install a new pole-mounted transformer.

The increased pole class provides the additional strength required to support the new transformer and associated electrical infrastructure. Once the utility completes their portion of the work, a new service will bring power to a set of log cabins being installed by the customer for recreational use.

From pole replacements and overhead distribution to transformers and underground infrastructure, our crews are equipped to handle the work required to get power where it needs to go.

A lot goes into building a high voltage system before a single cable is ever pulled.

Our civil team has been hard at work installing an 8-duct concrete-encased structure that will provide a protected underground pathway for new high voltage infrastructure.

Throughout the run, large two-piece precast concrete utility vaults are being set by crane at strategic locations. These vaults provide critical pulling and access points, allowing high voltage cables to be installed in manageable sections while maintaining future access to the underground system.

Building the infrastructure below ground is where reliable power distribution starts.

What’s better than digging up a roadway? Drilling under it.

Our directional drilling team is putting the drill to work in Stratford, installing 4 × 4” HDPE conduits beneath a roadway for primary power at a municipal parking lot upgrade.

With multiple existing utilities in the path,the team used hydro excavation to safely daylight communication lines, gas, water and existing hydro before drilling.

Keeping the lights on and the game going!

Our electrical team was recently out on the field putting our 65' double bucket truck to work, replacing bulbs in sports field lighting high above the playing surface.

With the right equipment and an experienced crew, our electricians can safely and efficiently tackle lighting maintenance at heights that require specialized access.

From the ground to 65 feet up, we have the tools and experience to get the job done.

When you drive through this neighbourhood, you will definitely notice the lights.

What you won't see is everything that went into making them work.

Before a single pole was stood, our crews directional drilled new underground conduits, installed new power cables, and built the infrastructure that will quietly serve this community for decades. Once the underground network was complete, we installed 27 new concrete street light poles, complete with new arms and LED luminaires.

It's the kind of work that's easy to overlook because, when it's done right, it simply becomes part of everyday life.

Brighter streets. Better visibility. Safer walks home. Improved confidence for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.

We're proud to help build infrastructure that makes a lasting difference, and even prouder of the crew that delivered another quality project safely from the first drill shot to the final light.

Some projects are about more than installing infrastructure. They're about making everyday life a little safer for the community.

Our crew recently completed another pedestrian crosswalk installation for the City of Welland, creating a safer connection for families and children travelling to the nearby playground along a busy roadway.

From excavation and underground work to equipment installation, testing, and final activation, every stage required careful planning and coordination. The progress photos highlight the work that happens behind the scenes before the finished crosswalk is ready for the public.

Our team worked efficiently to complete the project on schedule while maintaining the quality and attention to detail that every municipal project deserves. Seeing the crosswalk activate successfully and knowing it will help protect pedestrians for years to come makes all the hard work worthwhile.

Another great project completed, and another step toward making our communities safer.

When the unexpected happens, we’re ready to respond.

Our team is on site in Thorold assisting with emergency storm restoration after a major windstorm brought down high-voltage power lines. We’re hydro excavating for new utility pole installations while safely supporting damaged poles to protect the public and our crews throughout the repair process.

Storm response is all about working safely, efficiently, and around the clock to help restore critical infrastructure as quickly as possible. Proud of our team’s professionalism and dedication on every emergency call.

The team is on site this week installing a new 2” duct as part of an upcoming fibre optic infrastructure project.

Using horizontal directional drilling, we’re able to navigate beneath the surface with minimal disruption, making it an ideal solution for sensitive areas and existing infrastructure crossings.

Once the drilling portion is complete, our team will return to pull just over 1.6 km of fibre through the new pathway to complete the installation.

Another great project helping this customer continue upgrading and expanding their communications infrastructure.
