Tomorrow morning Statistics Canada drops the 2025 crime numbers. We'll be reading them before the coffee's even done.
Last year Niagara logged 13,949 property crimes. Up 8.5% in a single year, while Hamilton and Toronto both went the other way. So the question we're actually asking tomorrow is a simple one. Did that keep climbing, or did it finally turn around?
We break these numbers down every year. Not the scary headline version. The real one, city by city, so you can see what's happening on your street instead of a province-wide average that means nothing to you.
Niagara, Hamilton and Toronto will all be sorted the same day the data lands. Check back tomorrow, or read last year's breakdown here in the meantime: π https://force.ca/toronto-crime-statistics-2025-break-enter-neighbourhoods/
And if you've been putting off getting the house monitored, this is usually the week people stop putting it off. Give us a shout. 844-360-1234
