Little known factoid about how Pineridge approaches stump grinding.

At the moment we’re doing a lot of stump grinding for the cities. They’re requesting that they can replant new trees at the exact site of the old trees.

No problem! We always go deep enough that this is entirely possible and feasible for new tree growth.

Some arborists just grind back to the top portion to make it look “good enough.” But that’s not good enough for us.

We go deep, do it properly – and stand behind our work, so it’s something we can be proud of.

We’re pretty glad we get to do it every day.

Pineridge Tree lives and breathes trees (and you do too, maybe you just don’t always think about it). It’s pretty wild that trees keep us alive.

You know, they give us oxygen. *Duh.

I feel a lot of the time people think arborists are just running around cutting down all the trees. Not the case at all.

We’re caretakers of the trees. Sometimes they need to be removed, sometimes they need to be pruned. Sometimes they need some deep root fertilization to bring them back to life.

It’s pruning day!

The guys are on site at this Niagara home getting a wild looking tree pruned.

There is a time and a place in the seasons for pruning, depending on the type of tree we’re working with.

If you’d like to prune yourself, don’t hesitate to give us a shout to ask about the best time to do it! Not pruning at the appropriate time can damage the tree, or do further damage to the surrounding environment in Niagara.

No, we didn’t super clean this truck before the media guys showed up. This is just how our trucks always look.

Complicated tree removal in Niagara.

Could the client have just called Larry The Ladder Guy? Yeah, probably.

But without the bucket truck and a couple and a half decades of experience, where do you drop it?

On the driveway? On the fence? On the house? The powerlines?

This was the only way to take this tree down – and the only reason we knew it was the only way to come down is because… Well, we’re the only arborist you should call.
