°What the 93635 ball does in the ED655 inside the outlet valve assembly:
•seals against the seat to hold pressure
•prevents backflow into the pump chamber
•helps the unit maintain steady spray when trigger is pulled

°it is a normal wear item (especially with primers, urethanes, and heavier coatings)

°because the ED655 is a diaphragm pump, even small wear on that outlet ball affects performance more noticeably than on piston pumps

°Quick lesson here: just because your sprayer is flushing clean doesn’t mean your filters are clean.

°This was shellac flushed with methyl hydrate, then Renner 2K right after. Shellac junk stayed stuck in the filter, mixed with the 2K, and plugged the gun solid.
