Here we have another beautiful cottage boathouse and garage combo in Muskoka Ontario that is nearing completion , where we are removing the old ageing cedar shake roofing and replacing it with a more modern Brava Roof Tile synthetic shake option. We started this project six years ago as a garage addition, over the past couple of seasons, we’ve done a few sections per year due to the cost of cedar through Covid, and finally this spring we got to complete the job . This project consisted of a boat house, a guest house a medium sized garden shed and the cottage you see here .

Waterproofing this barrel sauna today for one of our good customers, he was sick of it always being wet inside from the rain and we took care of that by installing a fibreglass rack for the metal to sit on and create an air layer of 1/2” then a layer of synthetic underlayment, and capped with 26g textured matt black S-Lock panels.

He’s happy, we are happy, was a fun day…
