Did you know that old cast iron drainage rusts from the inside out? Without a complete failure of the piping, such as the cracking seen in the first picture, it's very difficult to know the condition of the piping.

Sewer Inspection Cameras are a tool we have at our disposal to help deal with this issue. These allow us to scope the inside of the pipe to determine its structural integrity and isolate problem areas. From there we can accurately fix the sections that need to be fixed, leaving piping that's still in working condition.

Thompson's Plumbing is Hiring!

Two positions are currently available.

The first position is for an Licensed Gas 2 Technician who is confident and capable at installing black iron gas piping, hydronic boiler venting and exhaust, as well as performing combustion testing and hydronic boiler maintenance. Plumbing license or a desire to obtain a plumbing license is preferred, but not required.

The second position is for a Seasonal Student Position, who's duties would primarily include working with Ron at the shop cleaning and organizing inventory and the yard. A young person with an interest in pursuing a plumbing apprenticeship after finishing schooling is preferred, but not required. Hours obtained in this position can be counted towards plumbing apprenticeship.
