Some of my outdoor plants over the last 10 years. I don't grow them outside anymore as I find it just a waste of time. These are a variety of strains some are pink Kush some are Ambrosia Haze. I started a clone in a 1 gallon bag got it growing well just put them right into the ground gave them a small watering of some of my nutrient and then just left them alone until I harvest them in mid-october. I averaged about a kilogram a plant.

I recommend making a 50/50 solution by mixing the veg and bloom in a 50/50 ratio to use as a transition formula from veg to bloom to more closely match the transitioning potassium-to-nitrogen ratios (K:N).
Typically:

Veg = 1:1 K:N (first 2 weeks flowering)

50/50 = weeks 2 to 4 or 5

Bloom = 2:1 K:N (week 4 or 5 onward)

When I First Realized I Wanted to Be a Professional Cannabis Grower

Growing up in government foster homes, I was essentially kicked out of British Columbia and sent to Ontario at eighteen. I was selling hash on the street by the McDonald’s at Youngman College just to support myself. That’s when I first learned about growing. I absolutely loved it. Nothing in my life had ever been this fluid and easy to learn.

My first job was at an MDA lab, where my best friends at the time were an organic chemist and a nuclear physicist. This was the early eighties, and they were teaching me all kinds of things.

I sold a lot of w**d and hash to get my first growing systems. I rented an apartment in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, and everything was going great—until about two or three weeks before harvest. One day I walked in and the building manager gave me a strange look. When I got upstairs, there was a note from the local police asking me to call them.

Turns out, I had left a window open. It got cold, the faulty water valve ruptured, and the place flooded the apartment below. The police came in… yada yada yada.

So I took off to the U.S. for a month or two—right during a bus strike in the early nineties. I remember being in the front seats of a bus when someone was shot through the front window somewhere in the southern U.S. My uncle Colin used to send me down there a lot, but this time it was so messed up in Florida that I realized: Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t. I came back to Canada.

That’s when it clicked—this is what it takes to be a professional cannabis grower. One little setback, bust, or arrest warrant can’t be something that stops you.

So I got back on the horse. I convinced my elderly uncle to franchise me out to all his elderly unemployed friends. Each one got a 400-watt or 1000-watt light in their closet. They made more money than they ever did on unemployment, and we did excellent as well.

What I’m saying is—never give up on your dreams.

Just walking around the grow room. Focusing on the mothers and my cloning. I'm just setting up the new cloning business. You see some of the older clones that was pointing out they still look like excellent clones but they just don't have the freshness look of the younger clones. So as the older ones get too big I normally will just flower them on the table or toss them. That way I can keep a constant supply of ready to go clones in the perfect age which is about 3 weeks from the time of cutting so about 21 days up to about 28 days and then they just start to get too large where those ones I'll take and deliver to local people personally but I wouldn't put them in the packaging to send them. But regardless this is what I'm doing and again I'm doing it on the cheap. That whole 4x8-ft gorilla tent with the really high ceiling on it I paid $250 Canadian and that came with a 5x5 gorilla tent also with a see what Denver LED came with a flood table or two a bunch of air pumps and water pumps and a whole bunch of other crap which I don't use lots of light hangers and stuff. But everything for 250 bucks. Those other tents I got the one four footer with the big mother I paid $250 for that and that came with the 400 watt LED came with the tent came with some pumps and stuff a lot of air pumps people had I don't use. I set this up I didn't have a lot of money it was just for the group members benefit just showing people how little you have to spend and there's no reason to buy a name brand item brand new because it's not going to do any different job than a used item that somebody else bought. Used lights are still excellent lights. You may not get that extra 10%, but you may not need that extra 10%. Out of all of the lights though if I had the chance to buy again I would buy the CSC LED. They're also made under another name I don't know if the company still in business but their size is perfect at being right around 4 ft Square and they have really high output lights were easily they're putting out 5500 Lux or the other lights are only putting out around 4,000 Lux maybe 4500 even the brand new philzon
